Duran Arturo Lucio is a Texan living in NYC where he acts, writes, and directs. He is the youngest of 5 sons, and being the baby, Duran learned how to take the spotlight away from his brothers. As a Queer, Latino, Storyteller, Duran creates art that is not only inclusive to characters so rarely seen, but he strives for their stories to be universally felt. Through acting, he looks for characters that are unlike himself to find a commonality and expand his views of the world. Through writing, Duran tells stories for that little gay chubby boy in south Texas who never felt like he was deserving to be the leading man. Through directing, he works with actors to help them find their version of what storytelling can be.
